New to Acp

As part of the Aquarium Conservation Partnership’s Climate Commitment, the “Energize for the Ocean” campaign was developed by a work group composed of representatives from member organizations and partner organizations, as well as ACP staff and consultants, all working together under a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The overarching goals of the campaign are:

  1. To inspire, encourage, and enable visitors to join with our organizations in taking climate action, specifically through visiting the campaign’s website, energizefortheocean.org.

  2. To document and share our visitors’ interest with federal policymakers, specifically members of Congress, encouraging their support for climate action, and with leaders at Google, encouraging their creation of a robust resource for individuals.

The campaign is being piloted during the spring and summer of 2024, and any interested ACP member organization may participate at this time! Please consult the campaign guide for additional background, and contact the campaign coordinator Douglas Meyer.
